Dr Jane Frith is a consulting neurologist in the MS Society Clinic held at Sydney Neurology. She has a long standing interest in multiple sclerosis, completing her first piece of research in the treatment of multiple sclerosis as an undergraduate student at Sydney University. She completed her medical degree and then her Ph.D. thesis on the Immunotherapy of Multiple Sclerosis. As part of her thesis work she coordinated a large double blind placebo controlled study of Interferon Alpha, transfer factor and placebo for the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Subsequently she completed her physician’s training and then specialized in neurology and neurophysiology. Dr Frith has continued her commitment to people with multiple sclerosis by furthering her research interests and developing a particular expertise in pregnancy and other women’s related issues.
