Dr David Rosen

MBBS FRACP PhD

Dr David Rosen has more than 25 years experience in clinical neurology, teaching and research.  He trained at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and completed his PhD at the University of Sydney. Dr Rosen worked in remote NSW where he established a rural stroke unit and provided RFDS consultation services.  In 2000 he received the RACP Murray-Will Fellowship to work as a neurologist in London at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square and the Royal Free Hospital. Before returning to Sydney Dr Rosen was clinical lecturer at the University of Western Australia, consultant neurologist and director of clinical training at the Royal Perth Hospital where he participated in development of services in telemedicine, multiple sclerosis, vestibular and pain neurology. Dr Rosen has been consultant neurologist at Prince of Wales Private Hospital since 2009.   Dr Rosen has extensive experience providing neurological medicolegal assessments and expert evidence for a range of neurological conditions. He is an Approved Medical Specialist for the NSW Workers Compensation Commission, a certified assessor for WorkCover NSW and other states and the NSW MAA.  Dr Rosen practices as a general neurologist with particular interests in stroke and vascular neurology, headache and migraine, pain neurology, neurological injury and medicolegal neurology.
